Silverton Book Shop is an independent, community book shop. Our main goal is to serve our customers with an enjoyable, pleasant retail experience. We are small and intimate and we love books and readers. We stock a good selection of book categories, book related sidelines, hard to find magazines and we are growing our children's section to include music and selected toys to spark creativity and education for our young customers. One of our foremost missions is to run and operate this business with the least environmental impact that we can. We try very hard to Buy Oregon First, then USA, then Fair Trade Import. All of our paper products: cards, calendars, journals, etc are either 100% post consumer recycled or tree free fiber. We have a great selection of reuse shopping bags and some lovely creations in yarn, and jewelry recycled from different materials. When you stop by be sure to ask to sample Nut Masters nut treats or sample a Yummy Earth organic lollypop. We have music to enjoy and don't forget we Special Order.
